AGFUND to Participate in the 2026 Concordia Annual Summit in New York, Advancing Development Partnerships and Global Dialogue

September 2026

The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) will participate in the 2026 Concordia Annual Summit, taking place in New York City from 21–23 September 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen its engagement in international development dialogue, expand partnerships with development institutions, international organizations and the private sector, and exchange knowledge and expertise on key challenges shaping the future of global development.

AGFUND’s participation comes as the organization continues to advance its development approach toward a model increasingly centered on needs, impact and sustainability, while strengthening the role of partnerships, knowledge and empowerment alongside financing to develop solutions that are more inclusive, scalable and sustainable.

This year’s Concordia Annual Summit will address a range of global issues that align with AGFUND’s priorities and areas of work, including innovative technology, health, energy and the environment, human rights and social progress, as well as the global economy and trade. The Summit will bring together leaders, decision-makers, and representatives from international organizations and the private sector.

As part of AGFUND’s participation, H.E. Hammam bin Nasser bin Juraied, CEO of AGFUND, will join the Mainstage session titled “New Capital, New Blueprint: Accelerating Development’s Next Chapter.” The session will explore the evolving development landscape and the need for new models that bring together capital, partnerships and institutional capabilities to advance sustainable development impact.

AGFUND will also host a dedicated roundtable titled “Digital Inclusion: Inclusive Innovation, Lasting Impact,” highlighting the role of digital inclusion in expanding access to opportunities and services. The discussion will explore how technology, data and artificial intelligence, together with partnerships and innovative financing models, can support more inclusive and scalable development solutions and help ensure that the benefits of digital transformation reach diverse communities.

AGFUND’s participation in the Concordia Annual Summit reflects its continued commitment to building international partnerships and advancing knowledge exchange, while exploring new opportunities for collaboration with development institutions and other stakeholders. It also provides a platform for AGFUND to contribute to the global dialogue on the future of development and the evolving role of development institutions in responding to global transformations and creating lasting human impact.
