AGFUND extends the deadline for receiving nominations for its Prize in the field of “food security for the poor” to the end of June

In response to the requests received from numerous development organizations, the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) announced the extension of the nomination period for the Prize to the end of June 2012. The AGFUND Department of Communications stated that the international and regional organizations, ministries and public institutions, NGOs, universities and research centers around the world could submit their nominations until June 30. Nominations for the Prize, which worth US$ 500,000 allocated for its four categories, could be sent to the Department of Communications at P.
