The Early Childhood Development Project, led by the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) has obtained new success . Dubai Center was established in 1993 with support from AGFUND, and as a result to characterize its activity was chosen in 2011 to be the second regional center for training of trainers from other countries, same as the Early Childhood Development Center and developed in Egypt. The early childhood development is a priority strategic project developed in parallel with fighting poverty. AGFUND executes early childhood development in 11 Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia (which started the project 1989), and Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Syria. AGFUND has certain requirements and necessary conditions to implement The Early Childhood Development Project, the requirements fall within the AGFUND System for early childhood development, namely: developing a national strategy at the level of each state to develop early childhood, and adoption of new curriculum for kindergarten, and the training of kindergarten teachers and supervisors, and processing training centers needed to do so.
