AGFUND and the Swiss Agency sign MoU to support financial inclusion

 
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Arab Gulf Development Programme for Development (AGFUND), a memorandum of understanding has been signed, at AGFUND Premises in Riyadh, between AGFUND and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) to strengthen the efforts exerted by AGFUND to promote financial inclusion, help low-income people and empower women in the Arab region. It is worth mentioning that the signing of this Memorandum comes as a result of the close cooperation between AGFUND, the Arab Coordination Group and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and within the framework of the directives of HRH Prince Talal to expand the scope of AGFUND’s joint cooperation with partners to benefit from their expertise and experience to better serve the target groups by revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development, as set out in the Goal 17th of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 (Partnerships for the Goals).
