Research and Studies Specialist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are highly preferred
• Specialization in Human Development is an advantage
• Minimum 9 years of experience for Bachelors Degree, 4 years of experience for Master Degree. 

Experience:

• Collaborate with departments to identify research needs aligned with organizational priorities
• Develop and manage the annual research plan based on business and program requirements
• Conduct research studies and prepare analytical reports on key development topics
• Coordinate with external experts and consultants to facilitate research activities
• Work closely with the Projects Department to align research timelines with project cycles
• Source, review, and manage relevant publications, reports, and research materials
• Analyze project cycles and assess alignment with emerging trends in human development
• Contribute to designing training programs related to research methodologies and knowledge utilization
• Monitor global trends in human development and provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Perform additional tasks as assigned within the scope of the role

Skills:

• Strong expertise in research, analysis, and report writing
• Knowledge of human development programs and project cycles
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
• Ability to design and support training initiatives
• Proficiency in computer applications and research tools
• Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
