The story of the beneficiary of the Ebdaa Microfinance Bank in Sudan Kawthar, one of the AGFUND banks for financial inclusion:

“I opened the center for training women in tailoring, sewing, knitting, and embroidery. I also provide training courses in bakery. The workshop had two sewing machines. Then, I heard about Ebdaa Microfinance Bank and applied for financing for expansion.” Mrs. Kawthar. The bank funded the project, and the workshop now has 12 sewing machines operated by several women and men. The project provides 15 job opportunities for seasonal employees, and the number of project clients has become 35 clients, from schools and kindergartens, to whom I provide school uniforms.
