AGFUND Board of Directors expressed condolences on Prince Talal’s death
The Board of Directors of the Arab Gulf Development Programme (AGFUND) expressed its condolences on the death of His Royal Highness Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, President of AGFUND, who passed away on Saturday, 22 December 2018. The Board Members, who are saddened by the death of AGFUND Founder; the man of development and humanitarian work, stating that the world has lost a philanthropist and exceptional philanthropist, who dedicated his life to human issues wherever it may be.”
The members of the Board have also expressed their deepest condolences to the family of the late Prince Talal, confirming that he has left a clear impact in global development through his initiatives that address the real needs of vulnerable and marginalized segments of developing societies.
The members of the Board pointed out the great services Prince Talal has provided to humanity in general and to the Arab world in particular. They also highlighted the huge number of projects launched by His Highness through AGFUND and its affiliated institutions, namely the Arab Open University, the Financial Inclusion Banks, the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, Arab Women Centre for Training and Research, and the Arab Network for NGOs.
