Prize Committee
The Prize is supervised by an international committee of renowned international personalities, who are selected based on their efforts and contributions to human development. The Prize Committee is chaired by the President of AGFUND, HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdul aziz Al Saud www.princetalal.net
An annual Prize of US $1,000,000 distributed among its four catagories:

First category: US $400,000
Projects that are funded, designed and implemented by UN Development Agencies or international and regional NGOs.

Second category: US $300,000
Projects that are funded designed and implemented by national NGOs.

Third category: US $200,000
Projects that are funded designed and implemented by government ministries and public institutions.

Fourth category: US $100,000
Projects that are initiated, funded and/or implemented by individuals.
